Monster Truck Rally

Our good friends invited us to go to a Monster Truck Rally!! It is the first one I have ever been too! Kris has been to a couple when he was younger, but this was a big thing for us to do as a family!! I was so glad that my friend *Neri* warned us about the volume this would have!! It was inside the coliseum so it was LOUD!! We came prepared with ear plugs!! *Heaven Sent* HAHA!



This is Kyran and his best friend Emilio!! They love to do things together! They are anxiously awaiting for it to start!! One of the trucks is "Raphael" from TMNT. The anticipation alone was getting them so hyped up!! Adorable!!







Here is the rest of the gang!! We had so much fun! I didn't know about it just because I am not really into these kind of things but wow it was fun to attend! And the kids absolutely loved it!! I was told we were cool parents that night and it was the best night ever!! AWWWW!!

This is when they would race on their 3 wheelers!! It was Mississippi against Texas!! They had 3 races! Mississppi lost the first two but finally won the last one..... I honestly think Texas gave us that win!! They pitied us LOL! We were the team in white! I believe it was race #2 there was a pile up over here on the side!! Thankfully no one was hurt!

This one was a little more intense for me!! I have heard and seen it on T.V. never live!! This is where the Motorcycle's do their loops they had 1 to start out with!! O that was a breeze to watch!! Too neat! Then they decide to add a second one!! I thought ok, tense but I can handle it! Then they decided to keep the two but add a woman just standing in the middle!! Ok that was a little to extreme for me! As it was for Desirea, she grabbed my hand and would not let go!! We were so thankful when she was let out of the cage, not realizing she was going back in on her bike and now there are 3 of them looping about!! OK, that was about all I could handle!! Not sure why but that sent me into a Braxton Hicks!! LOL to intense! But amazing at the same time!

So now we are back at watching the Monster Trucks face off!! This was so much fun and really neat to see! So who won this battle?? Well you know who we were rooting for right?! Did he win?? That's the whole reason we had to come to this show was to see the TMNT truck!! So?? how did he do?!

Well thankfully!!! The Raphael Turtle Truck WON!!! YEAH!!!! The kids were estatic!!! Go Turtle!! A night that ended well! We had a wonderful time and our truck won!! Whoop Whoop!!

34 1/2 weeks and counting!

So I am officially 34 weeks and 1/2 and the doctor told me that I have maybe 2 weeks left!! Hello!!! I thought I had at least 4 more weeks if not the whole term! Little Kaeden definitely wants to make his apperance, just sooner than later!

Party at the Skating Rink!

Kyran and Desirea were invited to go to a birthday party at the skating rink!! They were sooo excited!! Didn't realize how much of a challenge it would be to try and skate, but they had so much fun anyway and made the best of it!!! *Memories were made that day* Enjoy there sweet adventures! LOL


This is where poor Kyran stayed for the 1 1/2 hours we were there!! But he was determined from the moment we got there till the moment we left to try and skate somewhere!! I have learned that I need to take them skating more! If I wasn't expecting I would have gotten out there and help these two sweetie pies!

Look at how cute she is trying to skate around the rink! She couldn't do it with regular skates, they have these skates where you can where your tennis shoes and just slip them into these protective skates. Unfortantely for Kyran his feet were to big for this type so he was just out of luck! And Desirea barely fit! Look at her go!

I had to share this video it was just too cute not to!! Kyran bless his heart tried so hard to get the skating down but it just didn't seem like it was going to go in his favor! He didn't want all the trouble of taking off his skates so he could use the restroom! So he scooted on his behind all the way across the room to the bathroom! I had to video it! Timeless! LOL I hope it goes through and you are able to see this funny boy in action!!

Bouncy Ball Day!!

Cristian got a kit for his birthday on making rubber bouncy balls! So we sat down at the table and let them pick their sizes and colors and got ready to make the balls! It was really neat! You just pour the crystals into this ball scone looking thing and dip it in water for 3 minutes and then let it dry for 1 minute!! :) And they really bounced! It was crazy to me HAHA!!

Kyran's was a big bouncy ball! He picked the colors orange, green, blue and white!! It was such a neat ball!


Desirea chose to make a smaller ball with her two all time favorite colors!! Pink and Purple!! :)

Alyna wanted a big bouncy ball! She wanted colors of the rainbow! She picked out pink, green, blue and purple!!

Ok let's not forget our little man Cristian :) He was the most excited out of them all to make such a cool little bouncy ball!! He had to use his two favorite colors in the whole wide world is what he said!! Orange and Green!! I think he even had to sleep with his ball! :) What a fun day it was!

Flag Football Today!

So we get up at 7:30 a.m. every Saturday Morning to get the kids ready to go and support Cristian and Kyran and their desires to play football! Let me tell you that I am one proud momma!! Look at Cristian run!! And he chuggs it as hard as he can as the picture betrays if only his legs knew how hard he was trying to run!! LOL! He will get faster the more he practices and plays! So cute!!

Cristian's game starts at 9:00 a.m. and he plays for about 45-50 minutes depending on if everyone had a turn to run the ball.




So now Cristian's game is over and its time to turn our seats around and focus on Kyran whose game starts at 10:00 a.m. Keep in mind that this is FLAG FOOTBALL, not TACKLE FOOTBALL. But in this picture, the two forget that and they attack!! LOL!! Kyran said he is learning how to play by playing flag but he is ready to do some serious tackling to kids! (HAHA) Watch out!

I uploaded this video to show you Kyran in action as he has a turn to be the running back!! Go Kyran go!!! He got closer to the goal! So close! Enjoy!

Now its his turn to try being the quarterback!! He did pretty good at this position as well! But Kris and I both agree that out of the 3 positions he has tried he is definitely going to be a Defensive End or Tackle! He is quick as soon as that ball snaps! The quarterback on the other team feels the pressure! Kyran caused an interception today! Whoop Whoop!

So we are here to watch the game!! But everyone knows how kids attention spans last!! Well, Desirea and Cristian decided to perform during the small half time they had and Alyna taped them while their daddy hummed or made noise whatever you would like to call it! HAHA!! HOCKEY GAME WITH DAD

So my 3 darling kiddo's came home with FREE HOCKEY TICKETS for excellent behavior (is what the ticket said). The game started at 7:05 and they were ready to go!! Not knowing that it would be such a great game!! It wasn't over till after 10:00 p.m. because it went into overtime! But the Wolves won! YAY!

Here is the group enjoying the game!! They went to the game with their daddy. Its always good to have a field trip with just dad! They love these moments!! Their friend Minley also got a free ticket and joined them with her dad Michael.

Kyran was so excited to watch them, and he enjoys it more when the team he is rooting for actually wins!! But who doesn't huh!! They said there were 2 fights that night! They had so much fun that they couldn't make it home awake to tell me about it! I got the scoop in the morning!!

My 1st graders Robots

My 1st graders accomplishments this week!!


So the 1st graders had a project to turn in this week and it was to use your imagination and build a robot! Below is my 1st graders Kyran and Desirea and the projects that they have come up with :) Kyran wanted Wall-E so that is what him and his daddy made :)




Desirea on the other hand prefered to just wing it and make something out of all different items and this is what she came up with :) Which definitely fits her! Too cute!! I am so proud of my 1st grade project makers!! And of course the help of their daddy!! What sweet daddy/daughter and daddy/son time!!

My 1st Blog!

Hello All,


I have so many friends that are blogging, that I thought I would give it a try! So bare with me! Hopefully these journaling notes get better as I learn!! Where do I begin? Let's just start out with what we did yesterday and as I keep up with this blogging we can start reminiscing backwards and get more goodies of our fun filled lives!


So we wake up at 4:30 a.m. to yet again Kris's car not working worth a darn. Pooey!! We have become so dependent on having 2 vehicles that when we don't our whole cycle of life fills thrown off HAHA! Luckily he has a co-worker that lives just down the road and was really nice to let Kris hitch a ride! By the time he is out the door, my alarm starts going off to get the kiddo's ready for school! A challenge itself! Of course I hit the snooze a minimum of 5 times HAHA! I always get Desirea up first because she is the easiest! She loves school so when I tell her its time to get up she does! I then attempt to wake Alyna, with of course no luck EVER the first time! So I go to the boys room and wake up Kyran, who always wants to stay home, but he is such a good boy and gets up and ready for school anyway. After 30 minutes of "sweetly trying to get Alyna up" I start to drag her physically out myself. This usually works, but if she is in that deep sleep O goodness the drama happens, because she thinks she is falling and can't get up! I actually find it quite humurous by this time! Once she is up things fall pretty smoothly and its off to school!



Some of you will find this quite humorous but we live about 8 houses down from the school, but we still load up into the expedition and I drive them to school! Mainly because I am too lazy to get myself dressed and out of P.J.'s and Cristian is always still half asleep so its just easier! Anyway, they are off to school and Cristian and I are here at home getting ready for a day at the park with some great group of church ladies and their young ones! Its in the 70's and looks like a great day!! The only downfall here is the GNATS!!

Just look at these disgustings insects!! GRRRR They love to feast on our bodies over and over!! They are worst than Mosquitos, at least they bite you once and fly off, these just nip nip nip nip nip!! Ok so anyway as you can tell I do NOT like gnats LOL! So we will move on! We are planning a picnic lunch and fun at the park. So I take Cristian to Subway to get our sandwiches. Yep I cheated! I didn't have bread so why not let the famous sandwich place make it for us! So I get a Spicy Italian and he gets a Salami sandwich, chips and a drink! We are off to the park! We get there before the ladies and sit down to enjoy our lunch and yep swarms of gnats attack!!! So we go back in the car and wait! I warned the ladies and Cristian and I waited an extra 10 minutes before facing the bugs and sun again! Soaked us in bug spray and made the best of the time! Which was great! Its always fun to get together with other stay-at-home christian moms! We all got burnt pretty good from the sun and had gnat bites on top of it! We stayed there for 2 hours then went back to our daily routines! Even tho the devil through hot sun rays and ferocious gnats at us we still glorfied God in our conversations and had an amazingly fun time!! Thanks ladies for the fun break! :)
